Child Link offers support for those interested in becoming foster parents. The licensing department will work with you to obtain a foster care license for your home and schedule you for the required, free training. Six sessions are held each year that trainees are required to attend. After licensing and training are completed (a process that can take 3-6 months), children can be placed in your home.
