Advocate provides a free breastfeeding support group run by a certified lactation specialist. Topics include breastfeeding techniques, breastfeeding benefits, and common misconceptions about breastfeeding. There are sometimes guest speakers, who address a variety of topics related to breastfeeding. The group offers peer support as well. Refreshments are provided. In addition to the support group, lactation consultants are available every day from 8:00am-5:00pm.
