The Baby Care and Infant CPR Class is offered in a one day marathon class on a weekend (from 9:00am-4:00pm). The class is ideal for expectant, new, or adoptive parents where they will learn about baby care basics including cord care, circumcision care, jaundice, diapering and bathing. Essential information is also provided on cloth diapering, ‘green baby’ tips, using the car seat correctly, and techniques to calm a crying baby. Parents will also learn infant CPR/choking during this class. Participants receive a newborn care DVD, a CPR booklet and more. Please bring an infant car seat carrier and vehicle manual to class.
